In an instant, job openings can be posted and communicated around the world.  Candidates get job alerts, register their interest, and submit resumes all within 15 minutes.  Companies have worked hard to minimize the time required to apply, fearing that a slow candidate experience turns away good applicants.

But more candidates does not always mean better candidates.  Too many applicants cause as much as disruption as too few. Unqualified candidates can flood and confound your talent pool.  The latest research by Willis Towers Watson notes this problem, with companies widely reporting difficulty identifying qualified candidates, especially for high demand jobs in healthcare and engineering.  Has your HCM technology lived up to your expectations and delivered on the promises of speed and effectiveness for talent acquisition?  The technology itself is arguably not to blame, but instead how it is applied and used by companies.

This session takes a step back and offers practitioners better ways to source and attract talent using leading edge technology.
LEARN:

  •  Workforce analytics to locate and focus on your core talent needs
  • Better sourcing by treating candidates as customers
  • Leverage assessments to predict success and happiness
  • Create a thriving internal talent marketplace

This session presents the latest Willis Towers Watson research on 'the employment deal'  (the largest of its kind, matching employee and company perspectives in the same study) as well as trends in the future of work and the deconstruction of jobs.
HEAR:

  • Insights on the current and future state of hiring and promotion
  • Perspectives from employees representing different generations
  • A model for integrating the art and science of talent acquisition
  • Advice on establishing a strong EVP, based upon employee data
  • Advice on effective technologies & tools for finding & selecting talent
  • Plus extensive Q&A
