LEHRN NOTES – From November 13^th, 2009

Thanks to all who attended or presented at the LEHRN event last Friday, 11/13/09, at the University of MN.  The Center for HR and Labor Studies (CHRLS) was a stellar host and the Carlson School’s 3M Auditorium was a great venue.  Below there are links to download all six presentations from the event and a few meeting photos are also posted.

Special thanks to our WORKDAY presenters, Leighanne Levensaler, HCM VP and Mike Stankey, President, for their strategic context to help us understand the ERP market trends and the HCM ERP market evolution.  Thanks also to Dr John Budd Chair of CHRLS for the overview of department programs and to Dr. Alok Gupta for his synopsis of the interesting research project:  “ROI of IT Training in India”.  And our final thank you’s are to Matt Sabljak from HarQen for doing the 20/20 presentation on VoiceScreener and to our professional friend, Miriam Ward, U of MN HRO Director-Retired, for graciously accepting the first LEHRN PRO’s Award - Peer Recognition for Outstanding Service.
