LEHRN is a professional community sharing knowledge and experience on the successful alignment of Human Resources/Human Capital Management (HR/HCM) and talent management information systems to support best business practices.
Members at all points on the implementation cycle participate to learn and contribute to understanding how to manage the five perspectives that drive HR systems: People, Process, Technology, Structure, & Culture. Through regular meetings, LEHRN promotes a clearer picture of the marketplace of Human Capital Management Systems (HCMS) vendors and products and creates a professional business network concerned with each company’s successful investment of financial and human capital in HR tools and technology. We are a local affiliate of International Human Resource Information Management (IHRIM).
Objectives:
- Understanding how technology supports best business practices within highly-competitive industries is now the primary way that key groups think about IT investment.
- Organizations will better understand the business context of their technology choices * Vendors will better see their products and messages within their customers’ business context.
- Members will get a clearer picture of the development, implementation, and repercussions of new technology -- and how it is solving critical business problems

These events each have a focused topic that is presented to educate members on a Human Resources business process and how the process is supported by technology and HR professionals. The events allow time for networking and discussion and last approximately 1/2 day.
Conference Event:
- A technology expo is held annually. This event allows vendors to showcase their products to both member and non-member HR professionals. We have two keynote speaker presentation opening session and during lunch. Additionally, educational breakout session are held throughout the day long event covering a variety of Human Resource topics.
